No heat, no power, no water...shit, ok, there ARE worries
So...since Wednesday evening, when we got a MAJOR dump of snow - about 24" of snow. 
(this was taken Wednesday evening when it was just starting to come down)
I have been without power. Without heat. And without water.
I am not an impressed little soul.
Thursday, I had to cancel work. We had power for all of 30 minutes, my parents raced out the door...and closed the garage. And then the power went out permenantly. And I couldn't get the garage door open manually, because of a rusty hinge that has since been replaced.
So I spent the WHOLE day Thursday in bed, since it was too dark to read, listening to the wind (which went up to 95km here beat the crap out of my windows) What a LOOONG day. My poor kitties were terrified. The batteries in my radio were (of course!!!) dead, so all I had was my phone :P I swear I texted more people in those 8 hours of being alone than I have in a full month.
And then it got cold :(
And to stay warm, I slept under 4 blankets last night, had to get up early and shower at work.
In the mean time, we have had to lug water to the horses, as their waterers don't work :(
At least the barn where Costa and Enrique are is now full power - they only had about 5 hours without power. We are approaching 30 hours now :(
