So I admit to having my stereotypes. One of them is vans. I hate vans. Not the mini vans, but the actual vans. You'll also notice that in every horror movie, they rapist/murderer/evil green thing drives a van, and the girl consequently gets stuffed in the back. Ironically, everyone that I have known that has owned one has been a total douche and I would not have been surprised to find out that they later were put in jail!
So I came across one very similar to the one pictured, driving up the highway. Wanting to see if it was another jewel of society (aka a total sleaze bag) I sped up, looked over and expected to see a Wannabe Convict.
What did I see?
Hutterites. A bunch of hutterites going to church or the market, or whereever.
There goes stereotypes, out the window ;)
In other news, I scratched Enrique from the show on the 18th. First of all, I found out that I was the only one going, because everyone's horses are lame or they are going on vacation, which would have sucked majorly (I HATE showing alone!) and secondly, it wouldn't be fair to either of us...I haven't been riding much in the past 2 weeks because of school and work, so we definitely haven't gotten "better" since the last show. The show coordinator was a sweetheart though, and told me that I could just transfer the entries and cheque to the May 1st show, and that way I wouldn't lose any money, and she wouldn't have to refund me only a portion of my fees for cancelling to late. And that gives me 3 weeks to get my ass in gear ;)
11 DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT. Can you feel the joy!?!
