Pride
So I watched Amelia and Public Enemies this weekend. Wow, way to get what you deserve people. J.D., seriously, hanging out in the city public, going to movies...? Keeping the same people around you? That's a refusal to acknowledge your situation. You want it all fine, but guess what, keeping it all gets ya killed. People told you that and you ignored them. A.E., wow... just wow. So if people said a Woman couldn't fly to the moon I really think she would have strapped herself to a rocket. Never mind the return trip. The way that movie portrayed the character made me loose a ton of respect for her. The most amusing part was my date got all uppity about her and self-independence etc. and I'm just thinking to myself... yeah but it got her dead. If anything her story proves its better to know when to quit than continue to fly in the face of opposition, that is if you enjoy life, breathing, eating, sleeping, etc.
