Part of me wants to linger, part of me wants to not care. That'll never be the case, but the biggest part of me tells me to not bother. Ups and downs will come, but moping over it will hardly help my appeal to anyone. I'd rather be happy and face forward, yus!
And speaking of, though it may sound weird, I've been smiling more and more. Not that little pressed-lip thing, but smiling for reals, teeth and all, and even at random strangers. It feels way better too.
Yes, I'm mid-twenties and learning something new that is so elementary. THIS IS A JOY OF LIFE. And an LOL.
