Crossed!

I went house hunting with Skyler today. Their lease is up soon. We had a blast and found two really exciting places. Keep your fingers crossed that one or the other works out. Both would be closer to me, with easier access to work for most of the household, and lots more room. Both have yards that Arabella could play in, and room for the kitties to roam. Both are in pretty areas, with nice walks to take the baby on and close parks for her to play in. Both are much closer to the river, and to Arabella's other grandparents and her Aunts and Uncles.

Right now, the boys have a couple they are splitting a two bedroom apartment with. 4 adults, 3 cats, 2 snakes, and a baby...it's crowded! RoomMate Zooma's girlfriend moved in, and she's wonderful, but when they move, they will want to have an extra bedroom for her, and an extra space for the baby. So, ideally, they need a 4/2. Both Skye and roommate Zooma are artists, so they would also like a work area, and Skyer and his boyfriend garden, so they would like a usable yard. Plus, they want an area for Arabella to be able to play outside. Zooma's girlfriend might be able to help with the rent, but if she cannot, they need a place they can afford without her, however, she is awesome and they want to make sure they have space for her, with or without her finances.

The first is very close to the zoo...walking distance in fact, with a privacy fenced back yard, good shade trees, and a really cool, quiet neighborhood. It's at the top end of what they can pay, but it's good the full 4 bedrooms they want. If Miss Roomie can't find a job, it's going to e a stretch. Also, it's a wooden house, which, in Florida means roaches, termites and fleas.

The second is a 3/2 but with a sun room that could become a 4th. It has a work shop, and covered 2 car parking, it's got a beautiful orange tree. It's in a less prime area but still nice, and the yard can be gardened well, with good play areas for Arabella, too. And it's at a price they can pay with no help. It's cinder block, with tile throughout, which is just a much cleaner option down here.

So, remember...fingers crossed!
