Rainy Day!
Hello All! It has been forever since I posted! So here is an update of my life.
Over Break..
Eye surgery: Went very well and now I see clearly out of both my eyes! A couple of days ago I had a scare where I woke up and one eye was seeing really fuzzy, but it went away and I haven't had any trouble since!
Knitting: I learned to knit! And I am pretty good at if I do say so myself! My sisters make fun of me and say that I am about 80 years old, but I really like it. I want to learn how to make a sweater, but I am starting small with a scarf.
The Gala: I was surprised with a gift! My parents bought a ticket so Blaine could come! It was really nice, I got to get all dressed up and fancy! Good fun! See the pictures! They should be posted somewhere...
Boston: Went to Boston with my daddy and Blaine!
My Birthday: Lovely! I had Blaine to myself all day and we did all of the random things I wanted like putting together a puzzle, watching a movie, playing in the snow with Binky. Jeff and Amanda came over too! What fun! And now I am kind of a big kid! < small shudder >
Skiing: Attempted to teach Blaine to ski but he is a big poop head so he quit. Oh well, Jeff and I enjoyed the day.
School: Picked up Blaine and Adam and went to visit the old high school. It was okay, I'm glad I'm out of there.
Midnight Run: Went with Blaine and my church to deliver clothing to the homeless of NYC. A very rewarding experience. I really enjoyed it.
I came back from break and got a very exciting letter in the post! I've been made a student fellow for next year! It is an honor! I had to fill out this application and had two interviews and competed with about 30 people for 8 spots. For those of you who don't know what a student fellow is, it is kinda like an RA. But I don't have disciplinary power. I come early to school and I am assigned a group of freshman. I spend orientation week with them and they live on my floor and I am like their big sister! Very exciting for me! I can't wait! Annnnnnnnd, I get first choice on rooms in the dorm! Yeay! And I get a big double as a single! I am very happy about this!
Went home for Easter, that was happy.
Ummm, school is almost over! I am sick of papers!
I had about a 45 minute chat with this nurse when I went to get my allergy shots today. I pretty much told her my whole life history about when I was sick. It was nice. It put me in a friendly mood.
Okay, I finally learned how to put up pictures, so I am going to see about this. Hopefully it works.
