My first shift is over at the Foo. Probably the worst (dinner) I'll ever do there and I made like $115, so whatever. It really reminded me that I don't want to be waiting tables. Especially there. I really won't mind if I'm there for a little while just because it's time consuming and most of the people are cool/alcoholics, but I need a real job. There are a lot of stairs though that I frequently carry heavy things up, so it rivals a Tamilee Webb video at times... free gym, right? The management legitimately is evil though (one dude), and the paperwork is out of control. I literally submit like a 6 page packet when I sign out of a serving shift, full of signatures and percentages and questionnaires on things I observed in my workday. There's no way in hell that anyone could possibly do anything with it.
I'm on call this morning, so I have to call in at 10:45 to see if I'm in at 11:45. Trouble is I'll have to leave right away, so I have to be ready to go just in case. Either way I'm there at 3 for service class. Good times.
