i love my friends and family but damn its nice to be all alone agian...well, except for my cats of course.
nekocon11 was a blast this weekend. i cosplayed (dressed up) for the first time. it was fun, i felt pretty, i got lots of hugs and my picture taken quite a bit. i met funny people and had an overall good time. i've found a few new anime series i'd like to follow and i also found new goodies! *snuggles sai plushie*
la famile accompanied me back to f-burg sunday night so we could join sis on her campus tour of gwu. its quite a bustling campus, encompassing roughly 14 city blocks, and that doesn't include satellite classrooms located throughout dc. sis was glowing with excitement after talking to second year in her master's program and getting the scoop on the benefits of gwu's museum studies program. by the end of the tour she had decided to accept their offer of admission. now we just need to figure out how to pay for it and where the hell she will live...there isn't much time either, classes start jan 12th.
so that was extended weekend. back to work tonight where i may or may not meet the new boss. and oh! pictures coming soon!
