I know this comm usually sees downtime notices and general alerts posted by tienriu, but I'm just a lowly sponsor and coordinator, so I actually can't give you important info like that. I will have to try and come up with something different!
First things first, though. I'm Michelle and joined Skyehawke back in 2007. I'm the sponsor of the Lord of the Rings category over at the archive and I'm the category coordinator for the tv/movie main category, which mostly means that I try to keep character lists (somewhat) up to date and wade through the misc category to see what gems are posted there. My job description also includes creating new categories (very interesting, that and my favourite pastime!).
There are many, many small and even tiny fandoms represented on Skyehawke, a fact which I find highly fascinating. We have stories for Dead Man, Equilibrium, Hot Fuzz and Legend (to name only a few), and of course we always want more! That means that despite the rather short fandom list the archive welcomes fanfiction for other fandoms!
If you want an overview of what's hidden in the misc category, please have a look at this list. It may be faulty (quite possibly) and is not complete, because not all stories included info for what fandom they were actually written for. I compiled the list to the best of my ability, feel free to correct me! I hope this is somewhat useful to you!
