Good Monday
Yesterday was too busy to post. I did get to read and comment on a few posts at the end of the day, but the bulk of the day was insanely busy, in a good way.
My boss really is back to being "his old self". I am *so* happy!!! I also found out he didn't make the company trip this year. Since I can relate his "not being himself" directly back to last years trip and the fiasco that evolved from it, I can't say I'm sorry he's not going. I have back a man I really enjoy working with, who challenges me and keeps me on my toes. He's also a very laid back guy most of the times, who laughs and jokes often. I don't want this personality to go away again.
I found out that my review is now in and he requested a 5% raise for me! Whoo-hoo! (That's the max percentage allowed.) He feels that because of all the work I did when we didn't have a sales staff here in Princeton, and how much I've done with helping acclimate people to our new program, I deserve it. Now fingers crossed that corporate will agree with him!
Last night I started journaling about the first session with Ariana. Wow, are lots of things coming to the surface now! She was kind enough to give me permission to do my journaling on the computer since I hate writing so much. Funny thing is I have to do my homework by hand writing, and my thoughts after writing my affirmation were all about how much I hate writing and why. I'm not sure how productive last nights homework was! (grins)
Billy and I are doing better than we have in a long time. We've got some new tools to help us and we're putting some things in place to assist when we're stressed or cranky. It is good.... And I love having "us" back.
