I may as well just do it because I've been trying to update this thing for a week now...
The past week has been really amazing. We went to Rocky Horror again on Wednesday night because it was so good the first. It was, again, incredible. It was nice to walk in and not have to have a big lipstick "v" on my head. (Although it sucked cause I had a really bad migrane by the end of the night.) I really want to plan some trips to go visit theatres that actually do it on a weekly basis. What makes a show like that so good is the audience participation. There are props, actions and callback lines. When they do the timewarp... so do you. Its something so completely different than anything else Ive ever done. So good.
Thursday night we went to the AFI show in Providence. That was also good. Not as good as the one in Cleveland, but I swear that band cannot put on a bad show. It was nice to have to decent opening bands as well. I really should have worn earplugs... the music in there was SO LOUD. Although, on the bright side, if I did go deff at least the last thing I heard would have been AFI :D As for the rest of the trip, we got lost a zillion times and Glenn got his pants signed by the singer and the bass player. It was good.
On Friday I skipped my first class ever. Haha. We got back from the concert at about 1 which is before I go to bed at night (obviously, look at when Im writing this) but didnt FEEL like going to bed until like 4 in the morning. Amazing.
Saturday and Sunday... work, and I was sick. ARG. Im still sick and it sucks. Marcus decided to drop by last night and since we didnt have anything better to do, I introduced him to Dr Robotnik's mean bean machine. (Its on my GCN... kinda like tetris with colored blobs.) Yeah, thats the last time I introduce him to competitive gaming... haha.
Today was good. I actually got a few things done and then after dinner me and Shane went over Marcus's to watch Rocky Horror again. (which was good because Ive never heard the movie without people screaming callbacks over everything) OMFG that movie is rediculusly addicting! Anyway, the movie ended up finishing before 10 so Marcus challenged me to more rounds of Mean Bean Machine. We all played and all was delicious :) Then Marcus started playing Sonic and Knuckles and beat it with Knuckles at about 1:00. Its been a good night.
So, I hope I finally learn to keep ahead of stuff so we can keep actually enjoying some of the spare time we have. Its not so much fun doing stuff when you have homework assignments lingering over your head. Next week Im going to snag my third control and Super Smash Bros for even more video gaming pleasure... good times :)
