(no subject)
If anyone is interested, the TOHO Me and My Girl shonichi was a few days ago and there is a 5 minute or so digest up at the blog (or a direct link to the .wmv).
I can't say I'm overly impressed with the male leads, but that shouldn't be a surprise. ^^; It also screwed with my mind, seeing Sir John as, you know, his actual age. *laugh* There is not, however, enough footage of Kashige or Kaname. :P I do love how Kashi's wig bounces in the first scene though. XD
For some reason, the change in the lyrics threw me off. It seems a bit silly to have retranslated it. :P
And for anyone who hasn't seen it, the Hana Me and My Girl cast list went up last night. I figured Ichika would get that role. At least she gets to sing in the finale with.... I-can't-remember-who (who knows who it'll be. It was Gerald/Parchester in '95 and Bob/Masao (who didn't even have a name role) in '08 so....o_0). XD Plus a cute bit with Yuu-kun before Lambeth Walk. <3 But... who's Jasper? I don't remember and I want to know if I should be happy that that's who Fumika got. XD Aw, but my little Yuyu and Kyon-chan didn't get a name role. ;_; Fuzubi did though. <3
Anyway, Tonys tonight, yay! Yes, I'm rooting for Billy Elliot and its 15 nominations (Expressing Yourself is an awesome song, and Letter makes me cry ;_;), as well as (I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it...) Shrek. XD Hey, the music's not actually that bad. Plus it has Sutton Foster. :D I'm sure she won't win Leading Actress, but it would be nice.
I am very disappointed though that [title of show] only got nominated for Best Book. ;_; Here's hoping it wins that at least. <333
Oh! And Carole Shelley for Featured Actress, yay! *crosses fingers*
