Back to Cleveland
So as many of you with whom I talk know, I'm not exactly satisfied with a number of aspects in my life. My job is ok, but I'm worried about what it can bring in the long term. I've made some decent friends but have some issues with the way a lot of people around here are. And things are so expensive in the DC area, and the traffic is terrible, and various woes. Nothing awful, really, but I have to wonder if I could do better.
Perhaps the answer is to go back to Cleveland, where I like the area and the people, and that's where my parents (and dog) still are. The main reason I left before was that there weren't good professional opportunities; maybe with a year's experience that'll change. I'm not going to take a step backwards in my career, but if the opportunity's there...it might be worth taking. I just increasingly feel like DC isn't really my kind of place.
