Halloween

I was in DC for the last week for work, but really didn't want to stay for the rally even though a lot of people seemed to be flying in for it and it would've been nice to see people. I really wanted to spend Halloween in SF, even though there would be no Halloween in the Castro as it used to be.

Given that though, my specific Halloween plans did not play out as excitingly as I had been hoping. Regardless, I had a very interesting weekend in other ways.

Also, my self-image is feeling a little better; I was hit on far more often this weekend than the rest of my time I've spent in SF combined. But I still feel fatter than I should be (so I did end up continuing with the class since the prof cut a lot of slack to help me catch up, I was less behind than I had thought, and turned out everyone else was behind as well, but that has caused me to stop running and gain a bunch of weight again). With everything else I have going on though, I don't see how to make time for exercising. Ah well, I'll fix this problem in a few months. At least my wardrobe is pretty decent and current right now, with some help from a little retail therapy when I was feeling down last month.

My favorite compliment that I got this weekend was a(n obviously gay) hairdresser stopped me in the street, complimented my hair, and asked me to be a hair model for him. My hair did get redone last week. It's an angled bob with red and purple peek-a-boo highlights.
