So, immediately following the original airing of "Journey's End" I found myself bitten by a plot bunny that resulted in my writing my very first ever full-length Doctor Who story. I was nervous, as there were just so many stories that I felt were similar being posted at that time. Because of those nerves, I made a token effort to find a beta (which was unsuccessful) and ended up just shelving the thing. Recently, I've had to rescue all my work off of my old laptop, and I decided to give the thing another read-through. And, as it turns out, the specials didn't Joss it entirely! My brain no longer cares what my nerves think, so I'm posting it now. Hope you enjoy :-)
