I don't like being sick
It makes me grumpy and whiny. I also don't like going in to work when I'm sick. Least of all when it's all pretty with snow outside. I'd rather be curled up on my couch by the fire, and be reading Swamp Thing. But instead, I'm here. Like all good employees should be. With only an hour or so until lunch :-)
Luckily, I get to start on a research project today, which will hopefully be more interesting then some of the other projects I work on. *keeps fingers crossed*
In wedding news, we finally got the Bridesmaids dresses ordered! Four different dresses by B2 (all black, some with white accents) Although, I'm a bit nervous about when they'll arrive. The lady is supposed to call me today to let me know an estimated arrival date, and hasn't yet. I'm worried because when we first placed the order she said "4 months" at which point I explained that the wedding was in 3 months, she then revised the ETA and said 2 months. My wedding dress only took 2.5 months, so here's hoping that these things come in sooner. If all else fails, the girls can just buy black cocktail dresses like I was originally pushing for. Designers be damned.
I think I shall put my head on my desk for a little while, then get back to work.
