Advice Needed If You Understand
Hey peeps,
I really needed to post something. Please feel free to ignore this, but if you can help then thank you (I will try not to bore you).
I did a previous post (http://skyblue0291.livejournal.com/8217.html) on a very annoying girl in my class, who I really need to get off my chest. It's now got to the point where everyone in our class dislikes her because she does nothing...but talk. I was telling my lovely friend about this girl, and she told me to look out for number one even if you don't normally. Maybe that's my problem with her, I am spending too much time trying to help this girl, when it does nothing for either her or myself. I kept trying to tell her to stop talking about her problems or what she did last night with her boyfriend, and to do some work. She still doesn't do much work.
So today I thought she wasn't in and I was glad, but then she came in. She has this habit of coming in every morning or whatever time she decides to come in, and coming straight to me to ask me what I'm doing. She didn't today, she came in, and started talking loudly about her therapy session. So I told her to be quiet as the others and I were trying to get on with our work which is in this week (and she hasn't finished), and then she went out of the room..I don't know where she went, but I thought she might have gone to the Library to do some study. I looked through her book to check that she was on target, and what I read was a reminder of her life story which I have heard time and time again. She mentions her abused past and her affection with her boyfriend, and a lot about me. But the way she annotated her ideas and thoughts isn't that of a sketch book, but more like a diary. She didn't write in it formally which is what we are meant to do, instead the "shouted" quotes she has written in very large letters. Her relationship with her parents wasn't happy, but the fact that she includes this past in ALL of her work must be so frustrating on our tutors.
I don't want to describe the after events that went on whilst she was out of the room, but I will say that the art group and myself are getting very annoyed with her personality, and I don't know how to deal with it.
I'm not a nasty person, and I try and do everything in my will power to help her, but it doesn't work, and on top of that I've got to do my work, and keep check as Class Rep.
If you have any advice for me (if you have read this far, well done ol' bean!) it would really help me and maybe help my other friends.
