I'm in such a good mood
Wow. I'm so happy to be alive right now.
This weekend was AWESOME. My dad, brother, and stepmom were in from Maryland to see Dan and whatnot. So today was mostly spent at Avon High School seeing Carolina Crown perform and practice. They look great! I hope they do well at finals. I really like the show.
I talked to Mr. Burns for a while, which was great. I seriously miss that guy, he's so cool. And I saw JON!!! For the first time in forever. It was amazing, I missed him so much. So my parents left for my grandparents' tonight, I talked to Dan a bit and hung out with Jon, Becca, Kim, Brad, Reagan and occasionally Courtney Surber playing frisbee until 11:30 (1/2 hour after Crown departed for Louisville). It was just...the most carefree, relaxed fun I've had in a long time.
The rest of the weekend was spent mainly with Anthony, we saw Pirates again and spent time with my mom and Britt and evil child, who is decreasingly evil with age. I spent Friday night with Jenn, always good. I spent Saturday night with Britt so Anthony and evil child could be together. We stayed up til 3:30 talking and playing "Talk Dirty to Me." It was wonderful. Then we slept til 12:30. Then I got to see my grandparents and everyone and yay!
As I was driving home tonight, I had a lot of time to think. I was jamming to Eiffel 65 and feeling great. There was nothing particularly outstanding about this weekend, but I was just happy. I miss everyone, but when I see them, life gets so much better for that amount of time.
Just driving my car legally made me feel incredible.
I would die without my friends. I would die without my family. They are all so wonderful and my life is just...phenomenal.
If you've ever read The Perks of Being a Wallflower, you know what I mean when I say that today, tonight, I felt infinite.
Life is too short and too good to be concerned with disagreements and arguments.
I love my life, and I'm so lucky to have everything I do. I'm so happy to be me, and I'm so happy to have SO MUCH to look forward to in the coming month.
I can't wait for Maryland. I can't wait for school.
And yet I can.
