Hamilton is alright, but Franklin is 10 times better. So my cult is about Franklin, who is better because he invented the Bifocals, Catheter, Franklin Stove, Glass Armonica, Lightning Rod, and the Odometer.

Hamilton wrote pamphlets defending the rights of colonial Americans in the years leading up to and during the American Revolution. He was a member of the New York Artillery and eventually captained it. He led several troops throughout the Revolutionary War and was George Washington's aide. He was a prolific writer, his most famous work being The Federalist Papers. He was the first Secretary of the Treasury, and established the first central bank (a notable accomplishment). He has been called "the greatest administrative genius of his generation in America, and one of the greatest administrators of all time."

So even though he didn't invent anything, he helped to establish the government we have today, and therefore, he positively flattens Franklin.

Plus, he's hot. :-P

Ben Franklin was a much better statesman than Hamilton. He was a founding father, He was the only person to sign Declaration of Independence (1776), the Treaty of Alliance, Amity, and Commerce with France (1778), the Treaty of Peace between England, France, and the United States (1782), and the Constitution (1787). He even wrote pieces of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

Benjamin Franklin is also the father of Daylight Savings Time, the post office, fire insurance, and fire departments. He also charted the Gulf Steam, and opened the first library. He also printed money for the government, which is why he is on the 100 dollar bill.

Plus, he's hot :-p

Ew, are you turning into, one of our other friends? And who cares what Ben Franklin did, I sure don't, so I hope you didn't waste too much time looking all that up. :) It's my journal and I declare Alex the winner, so there. :-P
