Suddenly, I've become this girl who has plans everyday of the week who actually has things to do all day. Okay, so maybe it's only this week, but I feel busy. I like it. Yesterday afternoon I went over to Sarah's house. She showed me the cows! Now only if I had a camera...because I bet none of you know what a cow looks like. Well, in reality they look much different up close. Especially when they're pregnant. But that's a different story. Let's just say, I am NEVER going to become a farm girl. I truly enjoy the city. So yesterday afternoon I got yet another lesson about farm life, and I'm still clueless.
Then, Leslie and I were bored, so she came over for the night. I didn't even tell my parents, they were out, and when they came home, I was like, "oh yeah, Leslie's here, by the way." Like they couldn't see her standing next to me or something. We had an adventure this morning. It was our longest adventure yet, and the furthest walk. We went to the library! Okay, you can stop rolling your eyes and thinking we're freaks now. We just like books, a lot, and what better is there to do on a Wednesday morning. We found the "I am a Pencil" and "Hooray for Yiddish" books. Everyone should really check them out. Oh yes. Our adventure then led us to Burger King, and back to my house.
I checked my email, and I found simply marvelous news. The "Bodley Bulletin" column, in the Valley News, I'm going to be the new columnist! *jumps for joy and squeals.* I'm so excited, I have to go down Friday morning to get my picture done and such. Hooray Hooray!
After Leslie left, it was time for driving lesson #2, with my aunt this time. I improved, slightly, after an hour of doing turns. I even left the parking lot, to go from Fairgrieve to the Watertower Hill apartments circle. Then my aunt drove me to the former Nestle's parking lot, (I can't drive in traffic quite yet) where I proceded to do figure eights for what seemed like a really long time. I wonder when they're making me go out again. I didn't really plan on everyone making me drive so much, eek!
I also got a really cute skirt at Fashion Bug tonight, it's a chocolate color, and I love it! Hooray for shopping adventures as well! Then I got to write lots and lots of thank you notes, while talking on the phone and computer. Now that is multitasking. :) I think I'm done now...
