did you know that a bruise can incapactite you? yes is can.
Broomball court. 6:30 pm. I'm referreeing the game and drop the ball after halftime. i try and get out of the way and fail. i fall and land hard enough on my knee that i feel like i'm gonna puke. looking at my knee, it looks like i inserted a rubber ball at the top of my knee. so i get my roommate boyfriend to drive me to the emergency room. five x-rays later, they see that its not broken (thank god) but i have severe deep brusing and the swelling is compressing my upper thigh tendon. it really hurts but i have painkillers! and ice cream.

oh yea and i learned this morning that my mom fell down the stairs at home and sprained her knee and ankle. it's sad that it happened within 6 hours of each other...
