~*~ Meanwhile…. ( xD )….~*~
The newspaper trembled in Kiriya’s hands. Seijou Kaitou moved up behind her without a sound and set her hand on her shoulder.
“It will go away, in no time at all. You’ll see. Sit down. I made you some apple harvest tea, your favorite.” She said, and held the steaming tea cup below Kiriya’s nose.
They had closed all the blinds in Kiriya’s dorm room, but it still glowed with a pink-orange light: the clear light of a winter’s noon. A tiny heater hummed in the corner. Kaitou lead Kiriya carefully to the little round table in front of the window. She picked up the scattered manga into a pile and set her teacup down on a coaster.
Kiriya lowered herself into the chair and held the tabloid clenched over her lap. Kaitou carefully slid it from her fingers. When she touched the paper she could feel Kiriya shaking. She held her hand in comfort.
“Please don’t worry. You… you are frightening me, a little. Celebrities have to deal with these rumors and lies all the time. And this kind of lie is no surprise for a theater like Takarazuka, to be blatant. It's nothing.”
Kiriya’s fingers felt too big as she looped them through the delicate handle of the teacup. The glass was cool and thin- she could see the milky light through it. The steam wet her lips. She set it down without drinking, and let out a sigh that felt too large for her lungs to contain.
“Kaitou. If I tell you something, you will not spread it beyond this room, will you?”
Kaijou made a little sound of excitement and perched on the chair opposite her. She found Kiriya’s fingers on the table and squeezed, almost a little too hard. “Of course not! Never! What is it?”
Kiriya stared at the girl’s face. It glowed with eagerness. Kiriya swallowed her misgivings and began.
“It’s not Sena I’m worried about. It’s not even the fact that they’re spreading rumors or lies. It’s…what they’ve done, to me. For my chances, however slim they were.” She stopped to press her fingertips against her eyelids. Her eyes felt swollen and itchy.
“It is a lie that Sena tried to commit suicide. Any idiot could see that. What isn’t a lie is that when I was with her at that party…I wasn’t all that drunk as everyone thought. And what I did, therefore, wasn’t a drunken whim. I love Sena Jun. But I could never tell her that now. Now that it is a joke and a scandal, I will never be able to say anything, ever. And that’s how it will have to remain for a long, long time. It would not be fair to her, otherwise. It is over before it began.”

Hahaha...how many others will fall in love with Sena before this is over? xD
Also, I've posted the first part of a new (short) fic:
Real people! During a hotel stay for a special performance, things get heated between Kiriya and the rest of the Sienne when she refuses to perform the sexy choreography she's expected to. When it seems the upcoming production may be jeopardized, Todoroki is there to teach Kiriya how the top stars kiss. TodorokixKiriya
Rated PG now, perhaps PG-13 later
