IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE DO NOT READ THIS REPLY!!!! mandalynn1155 December 15 2005, 03:14:05 UTC
NIck! I saw it on monday night and i too enjoyed it.
I loved professor! he didn't have much of a part but the parts that he was in just gave me this happy? feeling. he is kind of like an instigator of thoughts. ijust thought he was awesoem. I was a little dissapointed with susan at the end. she just seemed to be so negative and naggy, but i sitll think she did a really good job. the only part i have a question about is the whole santa clause thing. is taht what that guy was? if so that is not in the book right? i mean i haven't read it in a few years but i definately don't think santa would be incorporated into the book. it did have a little bit of a lord of the rings feel. especially in the one sceen where they are looking over the mountains it reminded me of the bridge sceen in i think its fellowship, not really sure though. but it did remind me a lot of it.
I would have to say my favorate sceen would be, well i've already kind of said it, but when susan and peter are talking to the professor and he basically tells them to believe lucy. oh man ok i feel i am giving too much away cause i know a lot of people are seeing this on friday. i guess i'll put a big warning in the subject:)

oh and my favorite christmas song is O Holy Night.

Yea, father christmas was in the book too. Kind of strange, eh?(Tho' there is a ton that I forgot from the book just like you).

Yeah I remember liking susan a lot from the first few books but if I had only seen the movie I probably wouldn't have liked her so much.

I love Digory Kirke. He is one of my favourite characters in narnia series period. It seems that his reasoning mirrors that whole liar/lunatic/lord thing in mere christianity. the movie reminded me of how much I liked edmund too. I think my very favourite character is a badger named trufflehunter. I think.
