Right. A little bit later than promised (because real life will do that to us), I'm going to kick off the discussion on challenge 01/JC.
We've had five entries, so do have a read through them if you haven't yet done so.
I'm going to toss out a few questions, to get us all thinking about why the choice of POV matters, and what differences it makes.
In these remixes, what is changed beyond the point of view?
Have you learned new information from the different pov? What have you learned? Why do you think it was not included (at that point) in the original story?
Is the original more effective? Why? What makes the pov choice in the original story a better choice (or not)?
What differences are there between the 3rd person and the 1st person voices?
Please, chime in with whatever answers you may come up with, and any and all other points that you would like to make. And, tangentially, if you wanted to post something, but found it impossible to figure out how to do it, do comment with some of your thoughts on the process and *why* it was difficult.
