Antivirus?? ......help?

I used Kapersky for the past 2+ years coz it's reaaaaally good. But i think u guys know that recently they tightened their 'security' and blacklisted and blocked their erm....'not so halal' ones used by fellow 'lanun' like me. XD So anyway i be searching for new good antivirus now. I downloaded AVG free from online upon recommendations....and find ( Read more... )

You can try using Avast, as well as online scanners like Panda. There's also Avira if your comp has a lot of memory.

AVG punya updater a bit siao one. They don't update if the connection is too slow.

I use Avira, and it seems to be pretty good so far. ^^ Except that every time you update, an annoying pop-up window comes up advertising paid Avira, but if you're patient it won't bother you. ^^

i think AVg got this problem with one of the updates. u check what cannot be updated, (usually AVg will announce) and then check the AVg site. it will tell u how to make the AVg work. =)

cos mine like that, and after i followed instructions, mine can update to the latest =D

i got my kapersky license for only rm20 via my classmate =D
u dl the installer onsite n then just activate with the activation key. If u want i can ask my classmate for u

the latest Nortern is by far the best! beat over ZoneAlarm, Avast, Karpersky etc! xD Yes the old Nortern is sucked, but latest one has the smallest size n most efficient and user friendly.
but of course my bro helped me up to get the professional legal version. >D
so you gotta ask who can help u get one thou. So far no one around me even know about the greatness of Nortern yet. ;A;

Avira is good enough thou, but free things doesnt protect you that much.

as of the blue words, i encountered it as well, i think it is either you compressed the files or you just ignore it. it doesnt affect much.
