Good day
Its been a good day, full of relaxation and creativity and making things. I am having so much fun with these shrines! I poured the 1st half of my phoenix mold, and will pour the other half tomorrow, did a few minor things (&ran to home depot in the process), and started on the peacock shrine box. Chris sprayed some of the other boxes so I am waiting on them to fully dry out before starting in on them. Its all very exciting.
There is not much else new to report. Its been a low key day here in the apartment with Chris and I both working on our seperate projects and listening to music.
And! I actually finally answered all the email that has been sitting in my inbox for the past week. So, you know, theres that.
Tonights plan: PJ's, reading (Chris and I are reading 'All Dark, No Stars' by Steven King which is pretty good so far) and I am finishing up 'Feed' by Mira Grant. Well, I actually finished it last night, but there is the 1st chapter of the next book that will be in the trilogy in the back of this one, so I am going to read that...then back to the library it goes. But I enjoyed it...great read.
I took some pictures on my point and shoot today of my art table in various states, and Chris took some pics of me pouring rubber. I was going to take some process shots of the box I started but my battery died and I am too lazy to get a replacement out of my purse so I am just charging the one that was in it. It will still be here tomorrow to get its picture taken. And the light will be better.
My back is sore and my PJ's are calling me.
