The good things about today:
-picked up my new DSLR this morning from UPS. It's a Pentax K10D. Super excited to have it....now I just have to learn to use it!
-Dig art prof asked me to email her pics of my shrines, so I did. She wrote back and said that she thought they were both very strong. She gave me a few names to check out, and told me that she has a book for me to borrow that she'll bring to class next week. I assume our conversation will continue. She is pretty cool and I like her a lot.
-Scored a 90 on my first business math test. In Math lab, they correct it, and then give you a chance to fix your mistakes. I opted to just take my first grade since it was a 90. Not trying to be a math genius...just pass the freaking class.
The yucky things about today:
-school was long.
-I finally gave in and decided to eat in the school caf since I was there for a kazillion hours. I spilled coke all over my hand and sleeve as I was getting a fountain soda.
-My backpack became heavier and heavier every mile I carried it on campus. Which was many many miles.
-It took me a million years to find and secure a parking space, which was not so bad on the way in...but is seriously creepy when your class lets out at 9:30 pm.
-I forgot to order a memory card for my new DSLR. Plus I will need to purchase a flash and a few other accessories....well, ROme was not built in a day but I should have remembered the memory card! Ugh!
-My stupid laptop battery is finally shitting the bed...just as soon as I had it upgraded to Win7.
