Ack! I should so be in bed by now...but I wanted to upload my pictures to flickr and whatnot.
We had a great evening with Serena tonight. Dinner turned out really really well. I made roast beef with mushroom, shallots and wine sauce, raost potatoes with dill, chives and pearl onions, and brussel sprouts sauted with garlic. We had a bottle of wine with dinner which made it all perfect.
I finall was able to give her her holiday gift...a shrine I had made for her. Chris had also made her a beautiful art crate that he has been working on. I think its safe to say that she loved her gifts. She gave me a beautiful art jewelry piece...a ring that she made. Its more an art piece than a practical wear around ring, but it is beautiful and I lov eit so much! She is so talented!
We hung out and talked for a long time tonight...I am so fortunate to have a best friend who thinks so much like me! Its amazing how much we have in common. I adore her.
Tomorrow I will be working for a few hours from home, then Serena and I are going to Andreas for lunch, and planning on seing Black Swan at the afternoon matinee. Looking forward to it!
So, since I have to get up and get some work done, I'd better hit the sack. Good night!
