this and that.
Last night I had decided to do some reading before bed out in the living room. At some point I figured that I would just close my eyes for a minute. The next thing I know its some time around 5am this morning and Chris is waking me up! Good thing, too since I was pretty chilly out there on the couch. I crawled into the bed and went back to sleep for about an hour.
Work was pretty standard. I was really trying to get a lot done since I am not there again until Monday, and we have to do our quarterlies on Monday. A computer problem early in the day thwarted my good intentions...but I did manage to salvage things and got most of it done.
After work, I came home and immediately set to work on getting ready for my final again. I made my sheet of notes that I am allowed to take into the test, emailed a few more times with my teacher and I am as ready as I am getting. I have to be there by 8:30 this morning to start the test.
I got some miscellaneous holiday shopping done today, too. Like an i-tunes gift card for my nephew, and a few last last minute supplies for a gift I will be giving to someone on Saturday. I made my friend Andrew a set of stationary cards. I stamped and embossed on the front of each card, and on the back flap of each envelope. They turned out really well...but I had a few mess ups since I have not actually stamped and embossed in a long time. It was fun though, and I think he will really like them. If I think of it tomorrow, I'll take a picture to show you before I wrap it up.
So I head for school in the morning, then after the final I am heading to my father in laws to have him cut some plexi glass for me, then I am coming home. I'd like to get some wrapping done, and perhaps a bit of studying for my math final on Saturday. At 4:20, I am back out the door to school...last animation class tomorrow night.
I really can't wait for Friday since I am off. While its true that I have to grocery shop and go to therapy, I am still happy. To me, any day with only two places that I have to go is a light day.
Chris just found out today that he has the 24th off from work, so I'm super happy that we'll have an entire day off together! We have no plans other than to stay home, relax and cook some sort of fantastic meal. Oh, and open gifts at midnight.
I had a nice conversation with mom tonight on the phone, getting our plans all set for my trip to PA and our trip to FL in a few weeks, catching up on all the latest, and doing a lot of laughing. I can't wait to see my mom!
Tired out. Need to get some sleep so I can kick this finals ass in the morning.
