pdoc update
Last week, I saw my new pdoc (well, I actually saw the psch RN), and was put on triliptal. I have not started taking it yet...have to go to the pharmacy today to pick it up.
The good news is that I really had a GOOD experience at the appointment. i felt my initial visit was professional, informative, and through. I also felt immediately comfortable talking with the psych RN. She seems really on the ball....a far cry form bad pdoc.
I am continueing to struggle with quitting smoking. I am back up to 10 a day (from 8) but its better than going back up to 20. I am needing to investigate my "other" options on Monday after work. I have to call my insurance company and see about smoking cessaton therapy or if they will cover a prescripion for Chantix. I do not want nicotine replacement. My other otion is to just go cold turkey. I am sick of smoking and sick of the damage I continue to inflict on my body every time I light up. But how to break the damn addiction?
There's a lot more I want to talk about...and I will write an entry about my time away after I wake up a bit more. Right now, I think I am heading back t bed!
