a brand new colony
i tried to update earlier -- earlier when i was sitting on my ass in the library doing absolutely nothing during second hour, waiting for my interview -- but that stupid internet filtering thing wouldn't let me. i didn't have much to say though.
i skipped today. it was nice. i want to do it everyday. too bad i have a lot of absences. whoops.
at the mall today, i discovered that banana republic opened. i went in and felt oddly sad since it used to be fye. overall, it was just really strange knowing that i was in the store.
work was actually almost fun tonight. maybe it was just because i spent the whole time talking (like we usually all do), but at least i got to talk to someone new since brian from jackson closed. and good thing i know what i'm doing.
hmmm, overall today was good. since the ap calc test on tuesday i feel like there's a huge weight that's been lifted. i can only dream of what it will be like next week when i'm done with psych. beautiful. i've actually been getting a little bit of sleep!
prom is in two days. awesome. i'm not bitter, no. ok, maybe just a little. i'm over it though.
oh, i almost forgot! last night i went to see ben folds with amanda and lori. it was a good time. worth mentioning: the opening guy, his name was CORN MO. he looked like meat loaf and he played the accordion. and i wouldn't want to forget his 80s hair band vocals and what i think might be my new favorite song lyrics, EVER:
