10:44 PM. I actually stopped my DVD player and switched back to regular TV mode just so I can catch the "DTV Switch". True to their word, my screen turned to complete snow (as appose to the typical half snow I normally pick up). As I fished through the very poor signals otherwise known as channels, looks like a little over a half of them turned off their analog signal. So much for synchronicity. Okay and now the digital...
I've re-tuned my converter box and hey, I have lots of channels again!! And they're crisp!! Oh oh... I'm in danger of TV overload. Good thing it's summer season. So instead of just NBC, channel 9, and the ION channels, I also get CBS and sometimes ABC. Still no FOX and the PBS channels.
I've got no more excuses for not watching all the various TV shows out there.
Hmm, found Dances with Wolves on one of the new digital channels...and it just ended. How poignant, we see the end an era. Progress comes to all.
EDIT: The next day, I lost ABC and channel 9. What's with that???
