Jean-Léon Gérôme
I was editing an article. Of course, this means I need to do some research and add links to the article.
I got to study some art today...I only like to look at paintings. I understand brush size and stroke, etc...but I preferred sculpture and architecture.
Anyway...I like this Jean-Léon Gérôme guy...he has a nice style and interesting ideas about what he wants to remember. No doubt he embellished a little.
Note to the ladies looking at this picture...notice that they aren't little skinny things. That's what really attractive women looked like then. So...you aren't supposed to be all bones...stop trying to be!
I like the elements of realism in the picture...pretty cool stuff.

[How did it end up in communist hands? Was the thief a communist? (Aren't they all in some small way...stealing from the rich and giving to the super rich who hide it away.) And will Rob have the link for images working by then? I shouldn't have taken the image from them anyway.]
