Last night, as I sat down at my computer--which stays on my coffee table these days--I found buckwheat on and around her.
Interesting...
I drink coffee and tea (as I once did Dew and Jolt; and Coke in the down time) around her (my computer is a her).
That used to be somewhat forbidden at home. The Dew and Jolt were OK after I had them always...but my mother preferred drinks and food in the kitchen. I understand that. I agree these days, but I like to be with my computer and 'the fam' (as I'm with all) likes to see the TV.
I mentioned in the single post yesterday about 'the piggy'. (Today I inundate everyones friends list with mass posts.) Well, I saw examples last night. She was shoveling food in with a big spoon. (I tend to eat such foods with a fork.)
[Edit: When I say shoveling, I mean it. When I walked in she had the plate on my coffee table and she was literally shoveling food directly into her mouth which was at the edge of the plate. After a moment of surprise at the circumstance, I focused on something else so that I didn't laugh at remembering her sister calling her a pig the night before.]
Then, after a little more than an hour, she returned for 2 more teas and bread with honey.
I didn't even think about touching the honey this time...let some other unknowing fool wander into the hive.
Hmm...I guess our diet has changed a lot in the last few days. This could be a new problem. No sun, less spices that help our immune systems, and different kinds of meat. I'll have to find time, and a way, for us to supplement that. Maybe she'll agree to dinner and a movie--this time when I'm not sick as a dog and spewing pineapple chunks at passersby on public transport.
