The Girlfriend's Birthday
Well, I've been less busy with work this week, but still busy with the girlfriend's upcoming birthday. Well, that's today!
Happy Birthday, Света!
So, this week has been some TV watching and lots of research. Strange that I like to watch TV but find it often boring and rarely feel productive. I'm sure that there's a reason that I watch. I was reading news and law and more informative materials, but this last few weeks has been a little more TV. I think I just need a computer game to play for a week or so and I'll be back to news and information. Well, I have read some. I've been reading some business books on management and human resources, etc., but haven't finished any of them and don't spend a lot of time on them. We're also starting another book, of a strange sort, that I'd rather not mention much about. It's for a different type of information, but in reality it's a fiction book and it takes both of us to read it, since my Russian sucks!
Something I need to work on, obviously.
I also won't say how old Света is today because it's not nice...but still she is a 'spring chicken'. Just thinking of the number makes me miss being younger, but I would hate to go back and not know what I do now. In fact, I could save about...um...well...some years worth of head aches.
Tomorrow will be the b-day party, at the 'mother-in-law's' (so to speak).
Also, tomorrow will get colder again. It has been around 0 degrees Celsius here and that's a little strange, but hey, it's gotta snow sometime or we would think we lived in Sochi!
I probably have more to say, but I've been bottled up a bit lately and will stay that way. :-) It's not stress, just too much time on my hands.
So, of course, I just need to be productive with that and make sure that I don't have so much time on my hands.
Sounds like a New Year's resolution. :-\
