Cheap Oil for Massachusetts?

Well, it's no wonder to me that a pseudo-communist (wanna-be) nation would be favoring Massachusetts, but hey, read it for yourself.

"In what amounts to a massive PR victory for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, the leftist populist leader will begin supplying heavily discounted heating oil to poor Americans in the state of Massachusetts. Venezuelan officials from the state-owned oil industry signed a deal to provide 45 million liters of heating oil at nearly 40 percent below market prices over the next four months. US Congressman William Delahunt told the Associated Press that the deal -- which he helped broker -- was not politically motivated. "It has nothing to do, as far as I'm concerned, with anything between the Bush administration and the Chavez administration," he said. That might be just a little naïve, however..." [Sorry, but this really doesn't surprise me. Let's face it, it's Chavez and Massachusetts getting in a little mutual political PR--and still only makes me laugh.]
