Semester one of Tarleton is over. Final grades: A, B, C, F. The C was stupid - I missed my weightlifting final and found out about it pretty much two weeks later. My Coach said I couldn't make it up, which I understand... but I never heard him mention it and figured it would be the same time as all the other finals (it was the Friday before Thanksgiving). I emailed him later asking if he announced it because I was there the day before and he emailed me back: thanked me for my persistance and offered to let me make up the final. I did, but I think my grade should've been higher than a C. I mean... weightlifting?! But oh well...

Of course, part of the reason I took weighlifting was to get in better shape. I do have more muscle again, but I also gained five pounds (and it's not all muscle). Charming.

I get to take organic chemistry again... I fuckin hate that class. And while I definitely take 80% of the blame for failing, I will throw in that part of it was because we don't have internet 10 miles outside of town, so I couldn't do my online homework (which is part of the grade and a huge help in understanding the material).

And because of that (among other things), vet school is currently out of the question at least until after grad school. So there'll be yet another four years tacked on, assuming that I still want to be a vet after grad school. I'm gonna switch to the production option (because that's really what I've wanted to do all along anyway) and see where I go from there.

The B was in statistics... first time I took it, I got an F. So yay for improvement!

The A was in my Animal Diseases and Parasites class. I loved it. :)

I work at Subway. Get paid shitty ($6.55), but get free/discounted food. And I work with my Prom Date. It's probably... 65-35 good to bad. Working with 16 year olds sucks, but the competant workers are generally really fun and sweet.

I got a new kitten!! Her name's Chili (to go with Gumbo, whom I've now had for nine months). She's a little brown and black tabby that I found on a friend's front porch. She's a spaz, but really sweet, gets along with dogs and humans, and probably would get along with the cats if the only cats she knew weren't bitches to her. But ah well.

No guys really worth mentioning up in Stephenville... but I've been on a couple date's with Rebecca's coworker, Vinny, now. He's tall, .75 mexican/.25 spanish, amazing upper body (great body overall), sweet, funny, totally okay with cuddling on the couch watching wall-e (WHICH I FREAKIN LOVED), financially and emotionally stable... we'll see where it goes (if anywhere). I will mention that I'm wearing his hoodie and have had it since he met me in Lampasas (half way between Austin and Stephenville) for a date last Monday evening. :)

The insurance shit from the wreck is all settled. I got a total of about $3500 from two different insurance companies. We as a family got a little more, but Dad took some out to take care of some things that he lost from the wreck (I haven't seen the breakdown, but Lord knows Dad probably didn't take the full amount that he should have ---- not that I mind).

Dad turned 60 last month. Mom turned 59 today. My parents are ooolllddd. :P But I ♥ them.

Ehh... that's all I feel like writin now.
