I haven't updated in a while - there's a lot to update on. But... I have a feeling Dad will be going to bed soon so I don't know how much I'll get out. I never get on here (or AIM) because it's too much work on Mom and Dad's computer. I finally got on mine because I wanted to put some pictures on myspace that are only on this computer. Anyway...
I finally have a new job! Exmoor, no mas. I'm a vet tech at WestGate Pet and Bird Hospital which is BADFREAKINASS! We have all sorts of critters coming in - cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, mice, sugargliders, skinks, snakes, lizards, turtles, a wolf (a STINKY wolf), great horned owls, barn owls, hawks.... all sorts of things. It's also the best paying job I've had (that wasn't connected to family). It's kinda hard because I feel absolutely stupid sometimes, but most of the people are always really helpful (the rest are usually helpful). And it's almost like a big family there, everyone picks on everyone and knows everyone's shiz... ha.
But with that job, I also had three more up until recently. I dogsat for Lillian's family, I dog- and catsit AND run errands for Lillian's godmother, and I'm babysitting a kid that turns two in November. It was crazy, I went from having no real job (just doing temporary stuff for Mom) to having four jobs in seriously two days. And they all pay pretty well, too (especially considering the "work" I have to do and the fact that Lillian's family and her godmother have all said I could stay there and eat their food and the family I babysit for are usually all there when I'm babysitting, just doing other things... and they've fed me before, too.). Jad, the kid I'm babysitting, is so awesome, too. The last time, he fell asleep on me (which was way adorable) and I got him saying Aggie/Iggie (haha) and he even called me Sarah-Iggie a few times. :D WHOOP!
Speaking of, I can officially Whoop now. Yay for being a JUNIOR!
My sister moved back from Georgia. There's a few things that are kinda hard to adjust to (like the cats wanting to sleep in her room rather than mine! :( ), but I'm definately happy she's back. She needed to leave Georgia quite some time ago....
What else....?
No boys. A blessing and a curse.
Am going to the beach late in the month (the 27th-29th I think). Other than that, my trips have been to the Lampasas area once (for Memorial Day), Yancey once (for the family reunion), and to Luling/the ranch/Seguin (for the Watermelon Thump, Father's Day, yardwork, general visits). Before summer ends, I also want to make a trip up to Stephenville to see my Prom Date and maybe do a weekend trip somewhere that I haven't been or don't usually go to, the Wimberly VFW Rodeo is this weekend which I still plan on going to even though my Prom Date can't come (sadness). I can't make any big trips since the vet clinic doesn't let people off during the summer (the only reason I got 7/27 off is because it was planned before I got the job), but I need the money more than I need mental happiness anyway. :P
Oh, and I guess as a last note... if you or anyone you know is looking for a truck for sale, my sister has a 1999 Toyota Tacoma for sale. It's black, has a backseat, a lift (about 3"), automatic transmission, about 150K, ac works well, a bed lid (is that what it's called?). All of that for $7000. Drop me a line if you're interested.
That's all for now. I'm actually kinda tired (it was a long night last night). Adiosh. :)
