Off My Duff
So this year I decided to get off of my duff and do the stuff that I have wanted to do for a long time. I bought a another snowboard ( another you ask? long story) and took some lessons and I can now say that I can snowboard.. nothing crazy just good linked turns and cruising down the slope. We also bough cross country skis and have been hitting the state land down the road, been a long time since I did that, the new skis/bindings are so much better. We also got some snow shoeing in as well. So I am naturally bummed that we lost most of our snow this weekend but at that same time happy about the warmer temps- -10 in the am is a tough way to start the day.
Today it is brew day. I am brewing my first batch of beer. I am starting out with a basic American light ale and if this goes OK I'll move onto the other kits that I have for some Scottish lager and then some other darker stuff that were given to me for Christmas. So far my wort is almost ready and the house stinks of boiled hops.
Other than that, things are OK, just slugging it out in this BS economy adn thinking of new ways to market and screw my competitors that have been screwing me... what comes around goes around!
