Another day another radioactive isotope
so a guy wearing a lead apron and carrying a fancy geiger counter walks in the door today and says, " You don't see a guy coming in wearing a lead apron every day!" and hands me his business card. He is from the state health department. My first reaction is, " what did Mark do now?"
He is there to make sure that the X-ray machine next door at the vet's hasn't caused us an problems.. that we know of.
After he runs his test he lets us know that we are clear, no radiation is being transmitted through the wall.
As lead apron guy leaves Daryl says, " So we should call you if we start glowing at night." and as the lead apron guy walks out the door he replies," It's not the glowing during the night that we are worried about, it's when you start glowing during the DAY...then the state starts to worry. See yah!"
Great... On the upside I now have 3 balls.
