Random life nugget -
So I was reading this article and noticed that the president of Gambia has the same last name as my coworker from Gambia. I think to myself 'perhaps it's just a very common Gambian name...'. Today I asked my coworker (actually my superior) if it's just a common last name or what, and apparently the president is a close family friend and (I think? sometimes I don't understand the dude) also related somehow.
Of course, my coworker wanted to know why I knew the president of Gambia's last name and I said 'because he'll chop my head off if I ever visit'. He was like 'no, no, he wouldn't!' But he totally would.
