The sound of slumber over a cell-phone speaker

Diana called last night just as I was about to fall asleep. We talked for maybe an hour or so and then she fell asleep. I stayed there still saying little things to her even though I knew that she was asleep. I'm kind of disappointed that she wasn't talking, due to the fact that people can't or don't usually talk while asleep, but glad that she was that relaxed while talking to me. We're starting to become pretty close, I guess. Kind of weird because it all started after school got out, but that doesn't mean I'm not happy with it. She's like a sister to me almost because the sister I do have is so much older than me that we've never really known each other. Diana will be moving this week. I really really really want to see her one last time before she goes. I know we'll still talk quite a bit (for a while at least), but I want to see her before she leaves because the next time I'll get to see her would be Christmas break and it's not even sure that I'll get to see her! So, another trip to Lincoln is in order. Maybe tomorrow.

On the docket to do today are a few school related things. I need to go out and get a backpack (I meant to bring one up from Lincoln this weekend before I realized that I didn't have one), get my books, and figure out how to get into my mailbox. I might also start writing something. I have a bit of an idea and I might start writing it just to see what happens.

Anywho. I'm going to take a shower. Call me if you want me.
