The parental units visited this weekend with my grandparents. Gave us a nice housewarming gift (DVD player). Woo.
I spent the 4th of July watching Spiderman 2 with my friend's sister and her friend (high schoolers). The movie was wonderful; much more comic-bookesque than the first. The girls were really cool too - it was kind of like reliving part of high school and thoroughly enjoyable. They were also corruptable, as we partied a bit with them later that night.
My obsession with Elliott Smith is resurfacing. This, combined with my need to decorate my room, has led to me bid on this. Not sure which side I'll use if I win it.
I miss DC.
