It's an age old problem with few simple canned answers...You can't just simply say 'why all the fighting?' ...it's way too complicated.

I know. Ofcourse none of this is going to stop by means of hippies holding hands with flowers in their hair singing "Give Peace a Chance" (as nice as that would be), but and I know the answer(s) to "Why all the fighting?", but I still so mind-boggling that people can't just find a better way. As you must know, I'm HUGELY against the death penalty. I don't think there is any situation where the death of another person is necessary unless it's in self-defense. On the Palestinian side, bull-dozing houses (and people) and shooting at civilians necessarily qualifies as self-defense. On the Israeli side, I don't think random suicide bombings really count as self-defense either.

Uh, pretty sucky. I have the flu. And it keeps getting better just to get worse. I'm on my 8th box of tissues in like 48 hours. However I did have a pretty good winter break. I had some friends stay at my house. And I hadn't seen them in a while. It was a wonderful thing.

How are you?

True, very true. That's actually what I'm expecting.

On the other hand, when Arafat died, many people predicted a huge Palestinian up-rising and large growth in violence. I don't really remember anything happening.

This world is unpredictable.

Yeah, basically the same thing is going to happen whether we pull out now or in fifty years: Chaos, and probably civil war.

And I guarantee you that that wouldn't have happened had we not gotten involved in the first place.

My God, Bush just SUCKS at his job. It boggles the mind.

It really does, its not only making the wrong choices but continuously making wrong choices and using ridiculous excuses as to why He is right and why we should all agree with him.

Ugh. I'm moving out of this country as soon as humanly possible, because its not just Bush, its all going downhill, theres religion being mixed in with the government thats making choices for them. And money.
