HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!!! (Okay, yesterday)
Yes, I am 16.
I got to school, and my friends had all signed a card, which was really nice. And then a different group of friends had signed a different, which was also nice. I have the highest average in my Junior-level Honors class, so that was a nice surprise. It was sad, because on a normal Friday, I go to Baptiste's with a bunch of other basketball friends, and then after hanging out there, we go to basketball practice. However, for a "treat", we went to my Mom's sister's house. It was very nice of them to do this, and she made a nice dinner, but I would much rather have been with my friends than entertaining my 7-yearold French cousin for 3 hours. I sound like a man bitch and a horrible person complaining, and I acknowledge that it really was VERY nice of them to bring me there, but come on, its my birthday. I'm aloud to bitch. Right? Ok, I guess I'm just a horrible person.
Thanksgiving was really nice. I came downstairs, and my parents had prepared a special dinner of mashed potatoes, turkey, and smoked salmon salad (that last one is soooooooooo good). So that was really sweet of them. AND I didn't have school because of the strike.
Today I have a bball game against one of the best teams in the league (so far, tied for second with us, which is why we MUST win). SO, wish us luck.
