(no subject)
It struck me that I made no update actually worthwhile for quite a while so... without much further ado...
I'll just toss in an LJ-Cut here and see where I end.
Last week was a bit of a week for me that can be described best as 'blah'. Very busy at work, changed with completely wasted days going to the hospital and back.
On Tuesday it was the specialist for my stomach; reasonably good news, if all goes well we can plan an operation on my return-visit in 4 weeks to get my colostomy removed.
On Thursday the dermatologist to get my hands checked and frozen in places... that was it: 3 hours driving for 5 minutes consult.
The weekend was reserved for ~not going anywhere at all~. For a change.
Don't get me wrong, I like seeing my friends and I enjoy going over to do some silly games or watch movies, but doing so for 5-6 weeks in a row is a lot of visits. Specially as for Pegla and me it means at least another hour driving once we decide to go home.
On Saturday, though, we got a visit from Kaelyn and Spikey who stayed the night. We played some games and set out to watch "Kill Bill 2" "Mystery Men" "Osmosis Jones" and "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". I went off to bed during the last movie, suddenly completely wasted-tired.
On Sunday Jonesy paid a brief visit as well. After watching the rest of TLX, everyone went off.
In the evening Pegla and I watched Potter 3. In our opinion, while an entertaining movie, they missed the bat on a LOT of things in the book. Just a little too many to make the movie enjoyable.
Well, that was it I think.
Waiting eagerly for november 24th... and the 25th is my scan...
