Have you been missing it?

The other night, I was really stressed out. Me and Ryan were riding in the car, late at night. We were both really depressed for some reason. You know how sometimes you just get down and don't know why? Well we were definitely that. It was like it couldn't be explained. So I put this praise music cd I had into my cd player. Me and Ryan both don't say anything to each other, cuz it was like at the same time, we both intently focused on the music, and on God. When this one song came on, Come Home Running, a Chris Tomlin song, I got chills. The next song following was from a guy named Lincoln Brewster or something like that. Anyways, the words went "In You, I find my strength, In You I find my peace." I was hit with this overwhealming sense of joy and happiness, out of nowhere. We both did. It was almost unexplainable. It was like God revealed Himself right then and there to us, to let us know that everything is in His control, and we kept telling each other that "everything is gonna be ok." We called Aaron and told him the same thing. My eyes watered up with joy. It for real hit us at the same exact time, like a ton of bricks. It was amazing. If anyone reading this has never experienced this feeling, or knows what it feels like to have the Holy Spirit inside of them, it is the greatest happiness there is. No words can even come close to explaining how powerful God is, and what He can do when He is in your life. He will change you, like He changed us in SFN, so long as we make Him the ruler of our lives, no questions asked. Live every day like it's your last, and God is right beside you.
