I kinda forgot how good the Red Star Rebels were, shame they've split man- was really lookin forward to seein another show but ah well, hear there's 2 new projects comin outta their old members.
Oh, I discovered Down today. Its the first time in ages that I've just heard a band and instantly loved them (maybe Rise Against was the last time?)- there was this really cool moment earlier when I was listenin to Down III (probably "Never Try" [coz WOW]) when the pressure outside changed really suddenly n all I could smell was rain, all I could hear was kickass blues metal and think I was probably still catchin up on megatokyo. I was also drinkin my new badass drink* so 4 of my 6 senses were being rubbed the right way at once. Lush!
*I was tryin to make that crazy Cherry Coke drink from last year but I got cheap ingredients and fucked up the proportions so tho I made it at 3pm I'm still drinkin my first glass now...there's just SO much alcohol in it that I have to keep adding coke to keep from getting pissed lol I was some more of that gorgeous vodka me n Dom found a while back- it's vodka THAT TASTES NICE!!!!!! No bite, no kick, nothing, just good drinkin then suddenly you're all warm n fuzzy and you've gotta slow down a bit lol
