Wow, what an idea!
I had a very cool idea! I realized that humans are far from unatural! They work like most other animals. They try to make life easier in the best way they can, try to have lots of babies, and try to stay alive for a long time. We just do it extreamly well due to the way we've evolved.
Too often I hear people saying that animals live in harmony and whatnot. It's not true. If a lion wants to take over a pride, he gows and kills the male and then kills his young. Then he rapes all the women to make sure he is the only father. This behavior has been observed in humans in the past.
Another animal behavior that humans share is mourning for the dead. Elephants will sit there and poke and cuddle their dead. Rats will plunge into a deep depression. Humans will miss their mates for years after death. It's natural.
Rabbits dig burrows, skunk take burrows, lots of animals make shelters. Humans make shelters too. If other animals could have what we have they wouldn't shun it as unnatural, they would say, "Gimme that stuff!!"
I'm all for conserving nature, but romanticizing nature is just not right. You have to see that there are parasites, bugs, infighting, canabalism, and all those kinds of things in every species. It is the way it is. If people continue to live the way they are, that's fine, it's natural. It will hurt the environment for now, but if nature does what it always does, things will find a way to survive and advance their species.
