I've had a couple of very serious conversations with folks the last week or two about finding a new place to work. This place is a mess and I'm getting sick and tired of being surrounded by people that don't care about the news, that only want to be on the radio. I'm feeling more and more like I'm wasting my effort and talent in a place that celebrates mediocrity and ignores the concerns of people that are trying to improve our product. Laziness and apathy abounds and I'm finding it harder and harder lately not to get mired in that mindset as well. I guess ol' Conan isn't the only one with a monkey on his back.

Anyone want to be a reference when I update my resume?
